First Chapter UK
Three UK milestones. One complete story.
- Maternity, newborn & cake smash sessions
- 25–30 edited photos per stage
- Short cinematic highlight film
- 3 short reels for social media
- Private online gallery
- We travel to you — UK-wide
Natural, child-led family photography at home and in the places your children already feel like themselves.
South Indian culture understood. UK-wide coverage. No forced smiles, no rushing.
Real families. Real expressions. Less posing, more of what it actually felt like.
The First Chapter keeps the beginning together — not as four disconnected shoots, but as one family story your child can grow into.
One visual language. One connected archive. One film.
Your own phone clips, hospital photographs and family memories can become part of the final story too.
Watch Sid’s first chapter — a family film made from the little moments he may not remember, but can one day see.

When my own daughter was little, I realised the photograph means nothing if the child had to be uncomfortable to make it.
Mini Momentz is built around the opposite idea: let children stay children. We work around feeds, naps, shyness, chaos and curiosity — then photograph what is already there.
For South Indian families in the UK, that also means understanding the people and traditions around the child without needing everything explained.
Every story here is real — real families, real sessions, real memories.
A first birthday story about the memories that begin before a child is old enough to keep them.

“The highlight was the video; it beautifully tells the story of our journey and will be such a special keepsake for our son to watch when he grows up. Ravi prioritised keeping our baby relaxed and comfortable throughout, focusing less on rigid poses and more on genuine, candid moments.”
“His patience and natural way with kids made all the difference.”
It is so clear that he cares about getting the absolute best shots rather than just watching the clock. Akshara was so comfortable throughout — we never felt rushed.
“The photos are absolutely stunning. Every moment perfectly captured.”
What truly stood out was how comfortable Ravi made everyone feel. The natural light, the composition, the warmth — exactly what we were hoping for.
We are based in Coventry and travel across the UK, including Birmingham, Leicester, Rugby, Northampton, Milton Keynes, London and beyond. Tell us your location and we will confirm travel before you book.
Maternity and family sessions are usually 2–3 hours. Newborn sessions can take 2–4 hours because feeding, settling and breaks lead the pace. First-birthday coverage depends on the celebration.
Yes. We work around your baby’s feeding and comfort, use natural light, and do not force poses. If your baby needs a break, the photography waits.
We reschedule. A child who is unwell should not have to perform for a camera, and there is no value in forcing a session that day.
Yes. We photograph naming ceremonies, Thottil or cradle ceremonies, Annaprasana and other family milestones with an understanding of the rituals, grandparents and details that matter.
